David Lambert lives with his wife, Mary, in a detached, three-bedroom house in Keynsham. Inspired by their parents from a young age, they have always been extreme energy savers! They seek to show people what can be done in order to reduce energy bills!
Their house from top to bottom is energy efficient. Whatever you could think of being done to save energy has been tried and tested! David’s aim for his home was to have a house better than building regulations (which he has met).
Cavity and external wall insulation, secondary glazing on top of double glazed windows, an air lock porch, extra insulation on hot water tank, roof insulation… are a some of the many measures that they have fitted into their home.
David believes that an average three-bedroom house would pay annual energy bills of £1500.
David and Mary only pay £500.
